Cox Technic flexion-distraction and decompression is a well-researched, well-documented, and proven-effective technique for decompressing spinal nerves and treating low back pain. It's a gentle, non-surgical, no-force procedure that helps the spine heal properly - and keeps it as pain free as possible.
Health Care Professionals:
Cox Flexion-Distraction Technic works by increasing intervertebral disc height, which removes tension on the annular fibers and the spinal nerve and improves circulation dropping pressure within the nucleus pulposus of the intervertebral disc increasing the area of the intervertebral foramen by up to 28% and essentially realigning the spine by restoring vertebral joints to their proper physiological relationships of motion

Cox Flexion-Distraction and Decompression Adjustments
Active Release Techniques (A.R.T.)
Doctors of Chiropractic have the most extensive training in the skill of therapeutic joint mobilization and manipulation. CMT, or Chiropractic Manipulative Therapy, is utilized as needed to treat misaligned or malpositioned joints or bones and to improve and/or restore optimum range-of-motion to restricted joints. The goal of manipulation, otherwise known as adjustments, is to reduce pain and to improve neurologic input to a joint allowing the body to function more efficiently.

ART is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART. These conditions all have one important thing in common: they are often a result of overused muscles.
Every ART session is actually a combination of examination and treatment. Dr. Kropf, an active release chiropractor, will use his hands to evaluate the texture, tightness and movement of muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments and nerves. Abnormal tissues are treated by combining precisely directed tension with very specific patient movements.
These treatment protocols – over 500 specific moves – are unique to ART. They allow providers to identify and correct the specific problems that are affecting each individual patient. Over 90% of all professional sports teams utilize ART for treatment and to optimize performance.

Spider Tech Kinesiology Taping
Kinesiology tape is a breakthrough new method for treating athletic sprains, strains and sports injuries. You may have seen Olympic and celebrity athletes wearing multicolored tape on their arms, legs, shoulders and back. This type of athletic tape is a revolutionary therapeutic elastic style of support that works in multiple ways to improve health and circulation in ways that traditional athletic tapes can’t compare. Not only does this new type of athletic tape help support and heal muscles, but it also provides faster, more thorough healing by aiding with blood circulation throughout the body.
Many athletes who have switched to using this new type of athletic tape report a wide variety of benefits including improved neuromuscular movement and circulation, pain relief and more. In addition to its many medical uses, Kinesiology tape is also used to help prevent injuries and manage pain and swelling, such as from edema. Unlike regular athletic taping, using elastic tape allows you the freedom of motion without restricting muscles or blood flow. By allowing the muscles a larger degree of movement, the body is able to heal itself more quickly and fully than before.
